Development background
In environments where rust preventive oil cannot be used, in order to prevent rust, martensitic stainless steel bearings are usually used, but in highly corrosive environments such as water or solutions, precipitation hardening stainless steel bearings (equivalent to current high corrosiveness) are used. Although precipitation hardening stainless steel has higher corrosion resistance than ordinary bearing stainless steels, it has problems of lower hardness and lower wear resistance.
